Durian Jam

Durian Jam Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1 October 2026

Durian Jam (the "game") is developed and published by Sầu Riêng 3 Ngon ("we"), Vietnam. This policy explains what the game collects, why, and the choices you have.

In short: the game plays offline, has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your progress stays on your device. Data only leaves your device when the game shows ads (through Google AdMob), when it sends gameplay statistics (through Google Firebase Analytics, which you can switch off), when you buy something (through Apple or Google), or when you choose to share.

1. Data that stays on your device

We never receive this data. Uninstalling the game deletes it. Because there is no server, we cannot recover progress if you lose your device or uninstall; one-time purchases ("No Ads", "Starter Pack") come back with Restore Purchases.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game uses Google AdMob for optional reward videos you choose to watch, and for limited ads between levels (switched off when you buy "No Ads"). When an ad is shown, Google may collect:

Google uses this to serve and measure ads, for analytics and to prevent fraud. It is encrypted in transit (TLS). How Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choices:

3. In-app purchases

Payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their policies. We do not receive your card, bank account, name or email; the game only receives the product ID and a receipt to deliver what you bought. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules.

4. When you share

"Show off my orchard", "Share result" and "Invite friends" open your phone's share sheet. The picture or text (orchard name, location if you entered one, orchard level, orders delivered, streak, game link) only goes to the app you pick (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook) and is then covered by that app's policy. Rename your orchard first if you prefer.

5. Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)

To learn which levels are too hard, where players give up and whether ads get in the way, the game sends gameplay statistics to Google Firebase Analytics. Google processes this data on our behalf. The game sends:

The game does not send your orchard name, place, anything you share, your name or email. We have turned off Firebase's collection of the device advertising ID, turned off Google Signals, and do not use analytics for personalised advertising. Data tied to an app instance ID is kept for up to 14 months; after that only aggregate reports remain.

Your choices: switch it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Send statistics. In the European Union, the UK and Switzerland the game only sends statistics if you agree on the first consent screen. How Google handles Firebase data: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

6. Links to other apps

The game links to our other apps (Banh Mi Blast, Tĩnh Tâm) and to the App Store and Google Play. A link may carry a source tag (e.g. src=durianjam) and a signed "passport stamp" with a level milestone, so the other game can give you a cosmetic reward. The stamp contains no personal data. The game does not check which apps are installed on your device.

7. Children

The game is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages (no gambling, dating or alcohol). Parents can block purchases with Screen Time (iPhone) or Family Link / purchase authentication (Android). If you believe your child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law, the GDPR, California law…) you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, withdraw consent and object. As we keep none of your data on servers, the quickest routes are: uninstall the game (deletes local data), change your ad choices as in section 2 and switch off statistics as in section 5. For data Google holds, use https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. For anything else, email us; we reply within 30 days.

We do not sell personal data. Under California law, using advertising IDs for personalised ads may count as "sharing"; you can opt out with the choices in section 2.

9. Storage and international transfers

Advertising and analytics data is processed by Google on its servers, which may be outside Vietnam, under Google's data protection commitments. We only view the statistics in the Firebase console and store nothing else outside your device.

10. Changes

If the game starts collecting more data, we update this page and its effective date before that version is released. Important changes are announced in the game.
