A Banh Mi that tells the story of three regions
Crisp on the outside, airy inside and generously filled, the Banh Mi has been part of Vietnamese mornings for generations: at a stall at the end of the lane, from a cart on a street corner, in a schoolchild's bag. This humble food has now travelled far beyond Vietnam's S-shaped coastline.
So has its name. In 2011, "banh mi" entered the Oxford English Dictionary, and it now appears in the Cambridge and Collins dictionaries too.
Banh Mi Blast loads that Banh Mi onto a little cart and takes it across Vietnam's three regions, North, Central and South: from Hà Nội's Old Quarter and the landscapes of Ninh Bình, through gentle Huế and the old town of Hội An, down to Sài Gòn, the waterways of the Mekong Delta and the Cái Răng floating market. Every stop brings a new scene and a new piece of culture.
Level by level, we hope Vietnamese players feel proud of a taste of home, and friends around the world feel like visiting Vietnam one day.
